Principal's Message: 5/31/19

Dear Burr Families,

Happy almost June! We are getting down to the end of the school year. It's amazing how fast the year has gone by. Your feedback is very important to us as we continually strive to make Burr the best learning environment we can for your children. I have included a link to a short survey that I would love for you to complete. I will leave it open through the end of June. Your participation and thinking are highly valued and highly appreciated.

Have a great weekend.

The following link from Reading Rockets is a great resource for new books for your child to read over the summer. Books are grouped by age level.

Burr's summer reading celebration at the Fairfield Public Library is Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30 PM. The theme is a universe of stories. This year, the library is trying something new to promote summer reading. Students can accumulate points by signing up through Beanstalk. The town's goal is for students to earn 1,000,000 points this summer. Let's see if we can earn at least 100,000 points as a school this year. I have included a link to information about the summer reading program and registration information.
